Pioneer Day.....Ward Party.

This is Abby and her good buddy Dash. They make a pretty darn cute pioneer couple don't they. Big Thanks to Grandma Ivie for the awesome skirt, apron, and bonnet she made for Abby. Abby loved the bonnet and wouldn't take it off the whole party, it fit her perfect. We all had a great time.

These are Abby's best buds and the children of our really good freinds Brandan and Candy Madsen. Sport is in the stroller, little Colt is up front, Dash in the back and then of course Abby. Adorable, aren't they.

This is the fun Pioneer walk/parade all the kids did around the block at the park. Kerie decorated the little wagan and Abby and Dash helped pull it around. It was a great ward party.

Hey, when did Pioneers wear Vera Bradley sunglasses......something suspicous going on here.

It was hilarious, the whole ward got together and had a big tug of war and after it was done the little kids had so much fun they all just picked up the rope and had there own tug of war. At one point one of the kids tied the rope to a tree and then all the kids got on and started tugging, they didn't care if it was moving or not, they just liked tugging on that rope. Of course, Abby was right in the mix of it. Pretty funny.

Fire on the Horizon.

These are a few photos of the wild fire that was burning about 10 miles from our house. It got away from the fire crews a couple of times and burned quite a few acres. We had a good time driving out in the evening and watching the flames burn across the mountain. Awesome to watch, makes me miss the old BLM days.

Abby's new bike.

This is Abby's new bike, we got it put together, she was so excited to hop on and ride it. We rode it around the block once, she kind of tiped over on some loose gravel and has decided that the bike is now too scary to ride......so all the glory of the new bike lasted about 10 minutes.....girls, so wimpy

Barbecue Time!!!!

May I just defend my little grill. This little guy was just so cute sitting on the shelf at Pamida and I've been needing a man grill for quite some time ( and it was in my price range...20 bucks). So I purchased it, came home just as quick as I could, so excited to show Kerie and throw some steak on the barbie. And wouldn't you know it, the first thing Kerie does is laugh when I show her my grill. It's OK little grill, you can be brave just like your friend the brave little toaster.........and I can say it has served me well, now matter how hard Kerie laughs.
